Product Overview
Colostrum, which is also called first milk, is one of the oldest and most exceptional foods that can be found in nature. It is as old as motherhood itself, for colostrum is milk of any mammalian in the first 24 hours after birth. The effective substances that are present in the first milk are found nowhere else in nature in such high, perfectly balanced concentrations. Colostrum is important for the nutrition, growth and development of newborn infants and contributes to the immunologic defence.

In the immediate hours following birth, colostrum provides life supporting immune and growth factors (IgG and IGF). These help form the building blocks for healthy development. High levels of IgG (immunoglobulin) provide unparalleled immune boosting properties whilst a high level of IGF (insulin-like growth hormone) accelerates tissue building and repair in adults.  There are a number of specific health issues which have been shown to benefit from supplementing with Colostrum ranging from allergies, colds and flu, asthma, immune related issues and irratable bowel syndrome to name but a few.

Reflex Colostrum capsules are made only from freeze dried (not spray dried, which is a damaging process) bovine Colostrum which is standardised to contain 35% IgG
