FOR LEAN MUSCLE GROWTH
The protein requirements of athletes is approximately 1.2-1.8g/kg body weight, compared with 0.8-0.9g/kg body weight for less active individuals. For heavy athletes this extra requirement is especially important. Muscle mass is increased by the rate of anabolism (growth), and decreased by the rate of catabolism (breakdown) during exercise. Whey protein is absorbed quickly, having a very high biological value and an anabolic effect that last a couple of hours. Micellar Casein is absorbed much more slowly, giving a sustained anti-catabolic action. It has therefore been recommended to take Whey Protein Isolate in the morning, and Micellar Casein (but not any denatured casein) last thing at night. So Nutrisport 90+ provides the best of both for muscle growth at any time of the day or night.

Questions About Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) QuestionFrom Gary Slater Is this a good protein powder to use..? I mean I have been on PHD synergy and Maximuscle Cyclone for a while but am considering going over to Gold's optimum nutrition as one scoop is 25 grams of protein. Is this protein on par with the other brands I've mention..? Only your selling 5kg for what you'd buy in the other brands 2kg.. Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) Answer Nutrisport 90+ Protein - Hi Gary, thanks for your question. The Nutrisport range is made in the UK, which does make it cheaper for UK customers than imported US products like the Optimum Whey for example. It's actual quality is very high, with a sensible blend of whey isolates and casein for fast and slow release proteins. The main difference with the Nutrisport as an economy range is that there are few fillers, binders and flavourings. The 90+ is in very basic packaging and to be honest it's a very thin, almost tasteless shake, rather than a thick, expensive milkshake taste. Most of what you are paying for with premium products is actually flavouring and small additions. If you want a great basic protein and aren't too bothered about a thick milkshake taste (or are using the protein in cooking etc), the 90+ is excellent and very popular with those on a budget or bodybuilders who use vast quantities of protein daily. The 90+ however is also a fast/slow release blend rather than a pure whey, so it is a little different to something like Promax or Optimum Gold Whey, which are fast release wheys. Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) QuestionFrom anthony hi can you tell me how many servings you get in a 5 kg tub of nutraport 90 + please Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) Answer Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) - Hi Anthony, thanks for the query. The 5kg tub of 90+ gives you approximately 90 servings (a full two scoops per serving). This will last you 45-90 days depending on how many servings you need per day to reach your protein goals. If you are smaller, you may be able to use a single scoop per serving and will then get over 180 servings out of the big 5kg tubs. Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) QuestionFrom Rory Hi there,I'm currently taking Met-rx supremem whey protein and I'm not particularly happy with the results. I am taking the shake 3 times a day (One upon waking,One after workout and One Before bed). I am impressed by your products attributes and the high protein level but am not sure if your product is right for me. Is your product ok to take at the same intervals as the other product,or is it a once a day supplement? Cheers. Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) Answer Nutrisport 90+ Protein (5kg) - Hi Rory, thanks for your question. The Nutrisport 90+ can be used in exactly the same fashion as the Met-Rx supreme Whey product you use currently. The difference is the Met-Rx product is a fast release protein only, while the 90+ is a blend of fast, medium and slow proteins, so you get both a rapid release for immediate muscle repair and growth, but also upto 5 hours of slow release aminos into the bloodstream, which help prevent muscle catabolism, especially throughout the night, or long gaps without meals. Nutrisport 90+ is very simply flavoured and so it's not quite as milkshake tasting as some alternatives, but it is very versatile, can be mixed with other products to enhance flavours and can even be used in cooking and other recipes to increase quality protein content.
