BSN has developed a lean mass gainer for individuals looking for caloric support; caloric support that is necessary to maximize lean muscle recovery. Additionally it can provide the level of nutrients required by an individual with a higher metabolic rate or an extremely intense training regimen that burns countless calories.
Complementing our multi-functional a.m.-to-p.m. protein blend, feeding muscles for hours, is a blend of complex carbohydrates, providing useable energy for one’s ever-active muscles. To maximize energy and recovery, MCTs and essential fatty acids fortify this blend, lending a hand to a healthy heart and hormonal support.
In addition to BCAAs for positive nitrogen balance, fiber for nutrient uptake and glutamine peptides for recovery, L-glutamine AKG has been added to the blend for maximal anti-catabolic effects.

Questions About BSN True Mass (2.6kg) BSN True Mass (2.6kg) QuestionFrom David Cheetham I have just bought 2 tubs of No xplode which has already made a difference to my workouts but I have now seen that I need to add a protein supplement with it and you recommend two. What is the difference? what does each one do? how many times a day should i take them? I am looking to build big muscular size. I look forward to your advice. Would Maximuscle Cyclone be a good supp to take wiht teh no xplode as I have 2 tubs left but not keen on the taste so stopped taking it. David BSN True Mass (2.6kg) Answer BSN TRUE MASS (2.6kg) - Hi David and thanks for your questions. I will email you directly as this is quite an expansive question for this small reply space. However - Yes, essentially NO Xplode will improve your actual workouts, which is the prime stimulus for muscle growth, however protein and other macronutrients provide the actual raw materials for the body to rebuild bigger muscle tissue during the days and weeks following a workout. There are many different kinds, but essentially the difference is a lean protein (such as the BSN Syntha-6, similar to Reflex Instant Whey, Optimum Whey, Maximuscle Promax etc) contains only the muscle amino protein food, while mass gainers (like the BSN True-Mass, or Reflex Instant Mass, CNP Pro-Mass etc) contain higher calories with protein and carbohydrates for energy. The basic protein shakes are best used if you already eat a lot of carbs from normal food or are trying to lose fat. The mass-gainers are best used if you are skinny or trying to add a lot of size quickly and struggle to gain weight easily. Cyclone is a specific kind of protein, with added supplements like Creatine and HMB to save time and money buying multiple supplements. It is useful if you want to have simplicity, but many people find the taste difficult to adjust to. Please check your email for a more detailed response. BSN True Mass (2.6kg) QuestionFrom chris Is True Mass gluten free? BSN True Mass (2.6kg) Answer BSN TRUE MASS 2.6kg - Hi Chris thanks for your question. Unfortunately the BSN True Mass is not certified Gluten Free. It does contain some thickeners and stabilizers which may contain gluten traces from their original crop forms. Although this level is extremely low it is not advised to use this product on a gluten-free diet. BSN True Mass (2.6kg) QuestionFrom ollie hi i am one that stuggles to gain wieght. i go to they gym around 5 times a week am 6ft and weigh 10.5 stone. i take whey protein and on creatine aswell however nearly run out of my current products. to gain weight, size and strength i am thinking about purchasing BSN no explode, cell mass, true mass and some BCAA's. is this a good mix to reach my goals, if so when do i take the true mass however if not could you direct me in the products which would. thanks. BSN True Mass (2.6kg) Answer BSN True Mass - Hi Ollie, thanks for the questions. If you are slim and tall and really struggle to pack on weight, a regular high protein weight gainer should be the central part of your diet. Your supplement stack sounds sensible. No-Xplode and Cellmass will improve workouts, recovery and strength which is important for making regular progress with heavier weights. The True Mass and additional BCAAs are the diet foundation however. You should begin with one serving of True Mass mid afternoon, or after training on workout days. You can increase the servings until you are regularly adding about 1-2lbs of new bodyweight a week. This is a reasonable rate of gain to avoid bodyfat but still see regular size increases. You should still try to eat high protein meals of regular food, but you may end up with 2-3 shakes of True mass spread throughout the day. Use these inbetween normal meals so you don't become too full. Most slim individuals struggle to eat enough food at first, so build up slowly until you can manage to get an extra 1000 calories or more in per day. If you aren't adding weight you simply need to eat even more, Mix the True Mass with milk if tolerated for even more calories. BCAAs with several meals and before bed will help prevent muscle losses in an intense training schedule. True Mass is a great product but it can work out expensive to use several servings a day. If you want a cheaper alternative, check out the Critical Mass (either alongside or instead of True Mass) but if you can afford it the BSN range is great quality.
